Hey all, just wanted
to update you all that Ray will have a Cholangiogram this upcoming Friday the
18th at Duke at 11:00am. As of right now they will keep him overnight at Duke
Friday afternoon/night for monitoring (especially if they put a stint in).
He will be on the
transplant floor so that the transplant team and his doctor there can check on
him and make rounds on him.
Hopefully it will
just be a quick overnight stay and HOPEFULLY if there is a blockage they will
find it with this test and are able to fix it.
This will be
different than a biopsy bc he will be sedated for this procedure-well
consciously sedated....with a biopsy he feels it all!
We just ask that God
just reveal to the doctors whatever is wrong and has been wrong and guides them
to fix it this time. The not knowing is certainly worse than all this not
knowing and spikes in his blood work/liver test.
Just pray for guidance and peace for Ray has he undergoes
all this.
